The next trip to Brasil is going to be in 2013, all the places we may visit, things we may be doing, and approximate prices for 2013 are below:

March 2013

What's the plan?
Arrive in Brasil and the church will pick us up from the airport, we drive to Mogi das Cruzes in the countryside of Sao Paulo State.
In Mogi we will be staying with the Vineyard church, hopefully we will be staying in one of their church buildings, so no expensive hotels, the only expenses will be with food and travel.

We will then fly to Goiania near Brasilia where Roberto and Katy Araujo are planting a Vineyard Church in Roberto's hometown.  We will lead a second "Religion Sucks" conference there from the Tuesday till the Friday.  

At this moment there are possible plans to visit Rio de Janeiro and work with Luciano Manga as well.  We will fly back to Sao Paulo and from there to London.

We will be hosting together with the church a Religion Sucks conference, this means that we will be responsible to lead worship with their band, so we need some worship leaders, Jim will be the main speaker. The conference will happen in the evenings with social work in the Favellas (slums) and ministry to the Vineyard Cafe team during the days.

Prices:
We estimate we will spend £800 for flights to, from and within Brasil. We will spend around £150 on food and another £200 on transport, I also think we should help the churches with our accommodation as it will cost them electricity and water. So we should pay towards our accommodation in both cities, so I think £50 each is good enough.  That comes up to £1,200 each person but could change closer to the time.

I have attached to this a small form for those who want to come, that means you have to complete this asap and send it back to me. We are sorry but we cannot confirm your participation until you pay for your flights in full.

If finances are a problem for you we can do some group fund raising to help with the costing.
