The marriage centre is an idea that is just starting off at CV, here's a bit of an outline of what we're doing at the moment with some of the philosphy behind it:

Marriage is under attack in our society with many feeling it is an outdated institution so the number of marriages per year has been steadily dropping in the UK.

Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.       1 Corinthians 13:4-8

At CV we believe that God is at the centre of the marriage and we need to encapsulate things like communication, love in action, resolving conflict, the power of forgiveness, parents and in-laws, good sex, and strong foundations into the marriage to make it into a true committment.
