Getting Started

If you're new to this team hopefully this little piece will let you know how we organise and how we work and give you the space to ask questions, get to know people and just get help with the basics of how we function. We try and keep things as simple and low maintenance as possible.

I'm guessing that if you are reading this, you have already joined the group. The next thing to do is sign up for an account on www.getdropbox.com , then email me on jana@canterburvineyard.com and I will share the CV Assets folder with you. In there you will find logos, stock graphics, pervious projects as well brand guidelines and other instructions which might be of use. This is also where you should save your work.

Once you've done that just start browsing the "Comms Tasks" forum from the group page. If you see one that you want to do, just reply with a comment to say that your going to do it (so no-one else doubles up). Ask any questions or whatever there too. Once your done upload your work to dropbox and post another comment to say that your done and that's that! Depending on what it is, someone might suggest changes etc. Make sure you upload your layered, high-res files in dropbox, that way if you haven't got time to do the ammends, someone else can easily pick up where you left off.

From time to time there will be more permanent or regular tasks which need to be done a lot. Feel free to sign up to take that on, or to get a bunch of people together to do it.
