OFFERING HOPE, CHANGING LIVES
TIME OUT is a charity that exists to serve local communities by reaching out to those in challenging circumstances through weekly and special events. The team of volunteers is drawn from numerous different churches across Canterbury.
We have cooked breakfast or lunch together, creating spaces for friendship and supportive community where people can develop a sense of purpose, belonging and self-worth.
We help people to find appropriate training and education so that they can develop their life skills and improve their circumstances.
We are committed to working in partnership with local churches and to introducing people to the transforming impact of the Christian message.
We meet during school term times:
Wednesday: Spring Lane Neighborhood Centre, Sussex Avenue 11.30 – 1.30
Thursday: St Mary Bredin Church, Nunnery Fields/Old Dover Road 9.30 - 12.00
